BeeMade is a New Zealand honey company committed to bringing its customer delicious and authentic New Zealand honeys.
At BeeMade, our values revolve around sustainability, respect for nature, and the well-being of our buzzing heroes—the bees.
Our Ethos
BeeMade upholds stringent ethical practices that prioritise the welfare of our bees and the conservation of their natural habitats, from colony health to packaging. This commitment allows us to bring you honey that not only tastes divine but also reflects our deep-rooted values of responsible beekeeping.
Our Environment
The remote, untouched central Canterbury region of New Zealand is known for its pristine and diverse natural environment; the best conditions for gathering all-natural honey. The temperate climate and honeybee-friendly vegetation provide bees with a consistent and diverse source of nectar throughout the year, resulting in unique and flavourful honey varieties.
Organic Assured
In New Zealand, certified organic honey must meet stringent criteria to obtain organic certification, and at BeeMade we have taken all steps necessary to ensure our Organic range makes the grade. This includes proving our bees gather nectar while avoiding exposure to synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and other prohibited substances. Our beehives are made of natural materials and maintained without the use of synthetic chemicals or antibiotics. Our processing facilities adhere to organic requirements, to prevent contamination of the honey with non-organic substances, from extraction through to packaging.
Guaranteed Quality
Our Marks of Quality serve as indicators for consumers, confirming quality, purity, floral sources, authenticity and organic production methods. Our organic products are certified by regulatory organisation Asure Quality, and the Fernmark means you can be sure BeeMade products are from New Zealand.
Sustainable Packaging
BeeMade has committed to packaging its honey and beeswax products sustainably in zero-waste, petro-chemical free, recyclable glass jars and tins.
